Time flies as I get older. I cannot believe it has been ten years since I published my coffee table book "Washington D.C. • Home Again." I take photographs as creative expression, but not every frame has to have serious intention. I think I've made it clear that for me it is all about observation.   A few years ago I spent the summer in Boulder, it was hot as hell, temps in the 90s all summer. Why I love about shooting on the street
I thoroughly enjoy shooting on the street. Humans are fascinating critters and their interactions can be, to say the least, amusing. I was traveling around Canada and stopped for a few days in Quebec City. Recognition, Part Two
To me, my photographs are art. I make that statement based on how serious I am about my work, work that encompasses the way I see, my perspective on what I am seeing and fine technique.   We photographers hear that question a lot, it's a question that suggests the camera does all the work.
