About Gallery Framing

Black custom wood with acid-free mat

For me, gallery framing is a deliberate process — protecting the archival print within the frame, but also choosing materials that complement the photograph's composition, color palette and dynamic range.

Sometimes that's a simple black wood frame with an acid-free mat. Other times, an acrylic-faced, borderless presentation.

Framing is not an afterthought, for me or for you as a collector. It's how the work exhibits on a wall, how it meets your eye, and how the frame becomes part of the art rather than just a border around it.
